When should your child join?
Basic Skills 1-5 classes are offered through the Elk River Arena
(Click here to go to - Elk River Learn to Skate).
Basic Skills 6-Freeskate 6 are offered through ERFSC. Once your child is progressing in Basic Skills and is interested in private coaching (Basic 4 or later), they are ready to join the Club.
They must be a Club member to take official U.S. Figure Skating tests and/or compete in competitions beyond the Basic Skills level. They must also be a member to skate on the Club contract ice.
Skaters DO NOT need to be a Club member to participate in Rising Stars (Basic 1-5), Junior Club (Basic 6-Freeskate 6) or Accelerated Freestyle class (Basic 6-Freeskate 6).
